About Us

I started Buddies in 2006 when i decided to leave my regular job running a busy boarding and show kennels.
Having had problems in the past with my own dog care i decided to start the business offering dog walking, home visits and cat/small animal care. Although we do have pigs, sheep and chickens on our books too!

Nancy, who i met running the kennels, also works alongside me now so we can offer a more flexible and all year round service.

We are fully insured with Clivertons Insurance of which we can provide a copy of our insurance details to you.

We have experience in all size and breeds of dogs with over 30 years of working with them between us in show, breeding and boarding kennels.

We have both also worked with rescue dogs so understand that these dogs may have had a difficult start in life and normally need more understanding than the lucky ones that have have forever homes from the start.
We have a wonderful client base and are more than happy to provide you with written or verbal references if you request.

We are currently in the process of opening the areas first Dog Day Care Centre which will be based in Aylesbury or surrounding area in the next couple of months, so hopefully by September 2011.

Nancy and Sam walk and board our labrador Vic on a regular basis. It was important to us to find a local company who would love Vic as much as we do. They are constantly on hand to provide advice and they go out of their way to help. They often provide last minute cover for us either daytime or overnight and, most importantly, Vic loves going to stay. We can go away feeling confident that he is happy, well looked after and safe in their care. Buddies have made day-to-day dog-owning easy for us and any weekends away are completely guilt-free!
