About Us

Pets are loyal and love you unconditionally and ask only for your attention and love in return. For this reason I was inspired to try and make an original product aimed specifically for our four legged friends whilst also trying to include something for the owner.

Founded in May 2011 by Gillian Linnell, based in Saddleworth, originally named GGL Pet Supplies as my vision was to have a online pet supplies store, this however was changed to GGL Pet Services as I found that I was getting more and more enquiries regarding pet sitting and dog walking. My passion for animals and caring for them overtook my desire to stay purely retail and so the company was re-born.

I am Licensed by OMBC, which is a legal requirement for home boarding animals, it is against the law to operate without this license. Having this licenses gives you the peace of mind, knowing that I have undergone stringent checks by a qualified officer and that I reach all the necessary standards required. I am Insured for Public and Product Liability and trained in Basic Pet First Aid and I am about to undertake a Level 2 qualification in Animal Care.

I have owned dogs, cats and horses not to mention goldfish and tortoises throughout my life, and I have a real passion to make my company the best in the area, paying attention to health and well being of all the animals that I care for in whichever capacity. I want to help YOU as my customer to give your pet the best and healthiest lifestyle possible. I am Insured and CRB Checked so you can rest assured that your pet will be well looked after whilst in my care.

A full report is always left with you as to how your pet has got on, what they have got up to and where they have been on their walks.

I want to encourage and support proper care and maintenance for your pet, I work to keep the prices low, and keep my product & Services to the highest quality. I thrive on making my customers happy and listen to all feedback in order to continually improve my products and services.

“PONY RIDE” Mrs LORD Reviewed on 11th June, 2011 I took my 8 year grandson to Gill for his very first pony ride.To say he was scared was an understatement! Gill was very good, very patient, introduced Jack to Amy and made absolutely sure that before they left he felt safe. Gill gave him a talk on how to hold the reigns before leaving the stables. Jack went off for his ride and Gill made sure all along the way that he was comfortable. Within a very short time it was evident that Jack was enjoying it. He learnt how to sit/hold his feet etc whilst going up and down hills. Jack loved the experience and is wanting to do it again. I think Gill could be seeing a lot of us.........

“Gill is very helpful” Mr Watts Reviewed on 12th May, 2011 Gill went out of her way to help me find the right collar for a puppy, she came round with various different shapes and sizes to try on, then went away and ordered exactly what we wanted, came back and delivered it within a day. Gill goes the extra mile to look after her customers and her friendly approach makes it a pleasure doing business with her.
