uppercuts has been established 14years in herne bay a modern grooming salon with professional friendly staff working on appointments only your dog or cat is done on a one to one there is a nice reception area where you can sit have a coffee our customers are welcome to stay with there dog or cat the shop is on view to the public passing by as we work from the window the services we offer full grooms nail cutting tidy ups feet and face knots out and anything else which is required

I had previously struggled to find a good groomer and am overjoyed to have found uppercuts. Cathy is excellent with Lucy and always does a fantastic job. I have reccomended uppercuts to many friends and will continue to do so. Absolutely fab :-)

We have total confidence in Cathy - she is thorough, skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy, reliable, helpful and good value. I looked everywhere for a dog groomer who was happy to let me stay and watch. Cathy at Uppercuts made us very welcome, and as the grooming table is by the window, you know she has nothing to hide. You are made welcome and the coffee’s always on the go! Cathy discusses what you want for your dog, and respects your wishes, while offering excellent advice about what might look best for your dog. She doesn’t just cut or trim – she puts loads of thought, time and care into getting a balanced, attractive result – for example, leaving longer ‘feathers’ on a King Charles spaniel, and keeping the rest in proportion. She has a wealth of knowledge about different breeds and different types of fur / hair and a huge variety of tools to tackle long, short, coarse, wiry, knots etc. Cathy’s no-nonsense approach inspires confidence in both dogs and owners – I now have a Lakeland terrier pup, and I didn’t think she would stay still on the table – I was amazed when she willingly had her first tidy-up! Grooming isn’t just about hair-cuts. Nails get trimmed, and ears and eyes get cleaned! There’s a car park nearby, and you can walk the dog on the seafront when he’s ‘done’!
	“uppercuts good service” Miss Johnson Reviewed on 5th March, 2011 I took my little dog, Jade, for a wash and cut. It was her first time having her hair cut, she was very nervous. The owner Cathy was very good with Jade. She calmed Jade down and made her feel at ease. I will definitely be taking jade back to uppercuts!
