About Us
AristoDogz is a small, family run, exclusive ‘Dog Hotel‘, located just a few miles outside of Shrewsbury town.With over 30 years experience and a HUGE love of dogs, your dog couldn’t be in better hands.
We know just how hard it is to leave your dog in boarding kennels, so that is why we are offering our home as a stress free, homely environment for your four legged friend.
We DO NOT farm your dog out to “Host Families”.
You will be able to come and meet us and check us out, so that you can see for yourself just how well your dog will be cared for.
When you go on holiday, you can relax in the knowledge that your dog will be enjoying their holiday too.
We are ideal if you need us just for a few hours, a day, a weekend, a holiday, business trip or even if you are going into hospital....anytime you need, we are here for you and your dog.
Whatever your need, call us and we will be only too pleased to help.
There are no cold, noisy, stressful kennels here, just 2, very friendly resident Cocker Spaniels, who are waiting to share their home with your dog.
Your dog’s safety and well-being is our top priority. Whilst they are in our care they will be showered with love, affection and attention. Plenty of exercise and a safe, clean, home environment, just like they would be when they are at home with you.
Because we are a normal sized household, we only take in a maximum of 5 (depending on size) dogs overnight. This also ensures that your dog gets maximum attention and isn’t overwhelmed by too many other dogs.
We will cater for whatever your dog needs.
You can specify when your dog is walked, fed and when it sleeps, thus keeping to their normal routine and avoiding any unnecessary stress.
Typically, your dog will have 2 walks a day, of at least an hour, or whatever he or she is used to.
We are situated in a semi rural village, so there are plenty of fabulous walks and paths to explore.
Your dog will have constant access to the garden, plus we have an extra, separately enclosed garden for those guests that are a little more timid or boisterous.
We will provide everything that your dog needs. This includes all bedding, baskets, food and water bowls, towels and blankets.
You only need to supply your dog’s own food, however if treats are allowed, we will supply those free of charge.
We are also more than happy to administer any medication that you may provide for your dog.
If for any reason your dog requires medical attention our local vet is only 5 minutes away.
All our guests will wear a collar with a tag attached, giving our address. We are fully insured.
I’m sorry, but we are unable take dogs that have aggressive tendencies, or those that are likely to chew furniture and be destructive.
We also cannot accept dogs that are likely to bark and howl constantly, as this could have a detrimental affect on our other guests (and neighbours).
Dogs that are not well socialised, not housetrained or those likely to urinate in the house, cannot be accepted either.
All dogs must have a clean, healthy, flealess coat, be wormed and fully vaccinated (including kennel cough).
Male dogs must be neutered.

 | “Doggy Heaven” Miss Crideford Reviewed on 4th March, 2011I booked my Labrador Jess into Aristodogz whilst on a business trip. It was the first time I had left her with home boarding normally family have her. I was very apprehensive at first leaving her with a complete stranger but after meeting Amanda and her two dogs my initial fears soon went away. What a lovely environment Jess would be staying in. I spent an hour with Amanda and her dogs to see how Jess would settle in before booking her in. Jess stayed at Aristodogz for a four day period and if dogs could talk I think she would of liked to stay longer. Daily walks and plenty of cuddles, a home from home experience for her. Also Amanda didn't mind when I phoned her to see if Jess had settled in ok. I will definitely be using Aristodogz again, peace of mind for me knowing Jess is being looked after whilst I am away. |
