About Us
A microchip is tiny, glass, inert capsule the size of a grain of rice containing an identification number linking you to your pet. If the unthinkable happens and your pet wanders, A vet, rescue centre or dog warden will use a small hand-held scanner to detect the microchip number. The number is registered with PetLog, the national central database run by The Kennel Club. PetLog will confirm your contact details and you will be reunited with your pet.
The microchip is implanted under the skin between the shouler blades. It takes just a few seconds to implant the chip and most animals will not feel any pain at all. Dogs, Cats, Rabbits and Ferrets can be microchipped in the comfort of your own home. I also travel up and down the country to many of the Championship dog shows throughout the year. It can be arranged to microchip your dog(s) at shows or if you live on my route home, I can stop in at your home and chip your pets in their own environment. I offer a discount for multiple pets and litters"
