![]() | “Our 2 lovely but older cats” Mrs whitehead Reviewed on 10th December, 2010I wouldn't go any where else because the vets at City Road are really kind and concerned about our cats and are also so very skilled and professional |
![]() | “All praise to City Road Veterinary Centre” Mr Myers Reviewed on 10th December, 2010I came to Truro from Penryn accompanied by Sheba my Collie Cross. She had already had an operation to remove growths inside her. These proved to have been caused because her body was not assimilated fats. On previous visits to Truro I had noticed City Road Centre, and made straight for it to register Sheba. From the word go I was met by staff who were immediately showing love to her. Mr Leedham was the vet we first saw, and I was so happy with the knowledge he showed, and with his gentle handling of my beloved companion. Later Sheba developed a skin allergy and Mr Leedham suggested that she be seen by Simon, who had recently joined them, and was superbly qualified with skin complaints, as well as, of course all other aspects of veterinary care. The skin complaint was cleared up after a while. Very recently Sheba had what i had imagined to be a stroke {she is going to be 15 years old in Feb. 2011} . After testing Sheba Mr Leedham diagnosed the complaint as Vestibular Syndrome. It completely affected her standing , walking, appetite and drinking water, and made her completely disorientated. Medication has now put her on a path to better health. She is eating, drinking, walking, and for the first time in five weeks went for a very short walk, after having only been able to walk into the small back garden. The Staff ? Well ! the love and care they give to enhance that of the vets is second to none. I most certainly so highly recommend this practice to all who have sick animal companions, whether they be dogs, cats, or any other of our domestic friends. |
![]() | “Really welcoming Vets” Mr O'Dale Reviewed on 11th November, 2010After many years with another practice in Truro, I got recommended to see Simon the veterinary dermatologist by a neigbour. My cat had had skin issues for years which the previous vets just couldnt seem to get on top of. I was initially quite nervous about changing vets, but as soon as I walked through the front door at City Road Vets, my mind was put at rest by the welcoming receptionist and spotless waiting area. Simon himself was very gentle with my boy, and after performing some tests managed to get a diagnosis. Now Speedy's skin is so much better, and he is so much happier. I'm so pleased I took my friends advice to go to City Road Vets. In addition because I got recommended to go there by my friend who was already a client, I got 20% off the total bill, which was a very pleasant surprise.( and she will get 20% off the cost of her next visit there) |
