With many years experience in caring for pets, the staff at K9 Shine Pet Grooming Centre provide a kind and professional pet grooming service to customers throughout the local area. Established in 2006, the business is located in Seaton Delaval (South East Northumberland).
The K9 Shine team pride themselves on their continued professional development with regular attendance at seminars, workshops and grooming demonstrations. They ensure they are up to date on the latest trends and techniques and aim to provide a quality grooming service.
Ruth and Catherine have both passed City and Guilds Level 3 examinations in 2009 and K9 Shine is now one of the few salons in the North East with Advanced Qualified groomers. The company is owned by Ruth Webb who has been involved in the pet care industry for many years. After qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 1986 Ruth has taught animal care and Veterinary Nursing in Cambridgeshire, East Sussex and Northumberland. She had been both a branch rehomer and an Education Officer for the RSPCA and an area trainer for the PDSA. She has qualifications in assessing, verifying, training and education, small animal nutrition, pet store management, human first aid and, most recently, attained the City and Guilds Advanced Dog Grooming certificate. She is an Accredited Pet care Professional (APP)
