About Us

Based in North Colchester, I am a caring, friendly female in my late 30's. I have recently ended my career in banking due to relocation of my partner to a London office. This has given me an opportunity to persue my lifes ambition to be full time with dogs. I am happy to walk your dog during the day with/without my dogs or visit and feed at set times, also option to stay if you need to go away.

I have had dogs since childhood and love all breeds. I am currently studying for a diploma in dog psychology and behavior. I have a 2 year old Miniature Pinscher - Ollie - who also loves all breeds of dogs, big or small. He is fun and exciting but well behaved too. I actively enjoy walking him daily - come rain or shine - in the beautiful Highwoods Country Park which is walking distance from my house. Ollie is a neutered male with a love for play and sleep. He is a very loved member of our household and is usually part of everything that goes on. I also have a 5 month old Doberman who I enjoy taking to Ringcraft Training and who loves running around fields with any dog that wants to play with her.

I have looked after numerous breeds for family and friends - including Boxer, Lhasa Apso, Chihuahua, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Dachshund and German Shepherd.

I am also currently building great friendships with a German Shorthaired Pointer, a lovely X Breed called Dolly, a cocker spaniel puppy and GSD to name a few. We have daytime walks and overnights stays on a regular basis.

“Sara's Dog Service- Most Trusted!” Mrs Perkes Reviewed on 25th October, 2010 We have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Sarah's Dog Service. We do not like kennels, and treat our four legged friend completely as one of the family. As such where he goes, and who looks after him is very, very important to us. Not least for his own well-being, but also for the traits he will otherwise pickup and develop. Our Pointer absolutely adores Sarah and her dogs. Sarah is always on time, does her absolute best to accommodate, and our dog, we 100% know, gets a superb walk and lots of love etc when she visits. We also have no reservations in regards leaving our dog with Sarah when we go away. Indeed, we are not always sure he wants to come back! Overall, we really trust Sarah with the well-being of our dog and are really happy to have found her.
