About Us

We are a dog boarding service in the comfort of our own home. Your dog will be treated as part of the family with lots of love, care and attention. We are within walking distance of open fields and close to the beach. Your dog will also have free run of a secure garden. We offer a personalised service. Although licenced by the local council to take 3 dogs we prefer to concentrate on looking after dogs within the same family at one time. We aim to care for your dog as if it was our own, giving it plenty of walks, play time and fun,after all it is their holiday too.

	“Dog's Holidays” Mrs Robertson Reviewed on 30th December, 2010 Thank-you so much for taking our 2 five month old English Springer puppies at short notice, the boys settled in so well and were so happy when collected that we will have no hesitation in leaving them with you again. Myra, you were so fantastic when we got delayed because of the snow and took it in your stride that we had no idea when we could collect them, you continued to feed and walk them, even going back out to find the lost ball knowing that it meant so much to Che. This really put my mind at rest that our boys were also on holiday with people who genuinely love dogs. Thank you so much.

	“Brilliant!” Mrs Hunt Reviewed on 27th November, 2010 Jake, our chocolate Labrador, stayed with Holidays4Hounds for a long weekend. Myra and Ian were absolutely fantastic with Jake. Jake suffers with arthritis and they took Jake’s needs into consideration. They made sure he had his medicine and were really patient with him as he’s not as quick as he used to be! When I picked Jake up he looked so happy and had really made himself at home – I don’t think he wanted to leave. I really like the way Jake was able to live in the family home and Myra and Ian cared for Jake as if he was their own dog. The care, love, attention and belly tickles Jake got from Holidays4Hounds was worth every penny. I would never put Jake into kennels again. Thanks Holidays4Hounds, I’ll definitely be contacting you again to arrange Jake’s next stay!
	“Radar's stay at H4H” Mrs Allison Reviewed on 27th November, 2010 We contacted H4H, after we realised that our dog, Radar, did not get on too well with other dogs,at a previous dog-minder, and might be better off on a one-only-dog basis. We took him for a meeting with Myra, and he seemed quite happy after "checking everything out", especially the garden. The first time we took him to stay, he was a bit reluctant to go in. However, once inside, he was fine, and made straight for the garden. The second time we took him - no problem - he was straight out of the car, and pulling on his lead, to get in. When we went to collect him, he was not in any hurry to get out, and into the car, which we took as a very good sign. He seems to be quite happy to stay there, and we are quite happy to book him there again, in future. Thanks Myra Joan and John
	“Home from Home for your pet” Mrs Close Reviewed on 23rd November, 2010 We chose to leave Ben with Myra for 2 weeks rather than put him in kennels. He had a wonderful time and was obviously happy. We live nearby so Ben could continue to walk in his usual places. He was well cared for and looked after as if he were part of their family. I dont think he even missed us!!! A nice touch was the photo's of Bens holiday which we received when we returned. Thanks Myra, will be touch for next years booking soon.
