About Us

Equine Infrared are specialists in the use of thermal imaging on horses.

This relatively new service is gaining popularity in the Equine Industry as a valuable aid to predictive and preventative maintenance of the competition and leisure horse, as well as being able to assist diagnosis of muscle and ligament injuries in the Equine.

Our thermographic service is able to respond quickly to requests in the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Durham, and Nottinghamshire areas within 24hours, and also available nationwide.

This service not only assists concerned owners, but is a beneficial tool to vets, therapists, trainers, farriers, and saddlery trades in knowing the problems a horse may be experiencing.

Thermography can be performed for pre purchase and pre event of the Equine, and as a periodic wellness check, which can offer solutions to behavioural or poor performances. In some instances lameness can be diagnosed two weeks in advance of clinical diagnosis.

A survey can be completed in 20/30 minutes, is non invasive to the horse, causes no pain or stress unlike other treatments, and can be carried out in the stable.
