About Us

Based in Leyland, Lancashire and using positive motivational training methods, Tail Waggers is run by Gilli Sayer and offers training, agility training, dog walking and help with behavioural issues for your canine friends.

With over 20 years experience of retraining awkward and nervous dogs, Tail Waggers provide an up to date positive training experience. One to ones or group training can be arranged according to individual needs.

Reactive and nervous dogs can be catered for and stooge dogs can be provided to help with rehabilitation for dog to dog issues. The emphasis is on helping the dog learn to cope with its fears and building on this so that they can enjoy interacting with other dogs. Our motto is training with fun, not fear

Gilli currently competes throughout the north west at grades 3 (graduate) through to 7 (advanced) and has experience with varying breeds so is well placed to help with agility training whether just for fun or with the aim of competing. Classes run on a Wednesday (competition level) and Thursday evening (beginner training) in Longton with a few places available for each night

Tail Waggers can also provide a home visit service for emergencies or when you are away on holiday to ensure that your pets recieve the care and attention they are used to in your absence.
