About Us

Animate Animal Minding provides an alternative to kennels and catteries and is the perfect solution for anything that doesn't fit in to those categories!
I will visit your home/yard/premises while you're away and take care of your animals. Anything fron hamsters to alpacas, with everything inbetween!
I can also do overnight stays if required, or if you only have a few small animals, they can come and stay at my home, giving them a home-from-home holiday experience. (This is also handy if you need them out of the way if you're moving or decorating.)
I'm a farmer's daughter and have many years of experience with all types of livestock. I love large animals and am very experienced with horses, including youngsters.

	“Henry loves Animate” Miss Stoddart Reviewed on 12th September, 2012 Well the title says it all. An obliging, caring and all round service is guaranteed with Animate. I would recommend to anyone. The true test is with the animal and Henry loves Animate.
	“Excellent Care for Large and Small Animals” Mrs Wilcock Reviewed on 12th September, 2012 Over the past 4 years Leanne has looked after a variety of animals on our smallholding. She has happily fed and mucked out pigs, cattle and ponies, overseen lambing and calving, walked the dog and fed the cats and fish. Truly no job is too small or too large, Leanne can always be relied upon. Leanne has a sound knowledge base from her farming background and education but she also has a genuine love for animals which is apparent in the excellent care that she gives them.

She is supremely reliable – whatever the weather and however busy she is, she always manages to turn up and do what she is supposed to do. She feeds, brings in/turns out, mucks out everything from the stallion to the newborn foals. We can trust her to do anything and everything. If she spots a horse lame/unwell she lets us know straight away and if anything out of the ordinary happens, she deals with it sensibly and practically. We wouldn’t be without her.

She understands that one has to be on the lead all the time because she is a sheep worrier and is watchful over the other one because she can go into a cluster of fits at any time. We've frequently given Leanne keys and she has come into the house to collect the dogs or to give them medication and food. She always leaves us a note as to how the dogs have been when she's visited. The dogs love her and go mad when they hear her car. She has helped us out on so many occasions and we've never had any complaints.

I have had major changes in my circumstances and didn't want my dog to miss out on 'proper exercise'. 	“Shes a star” Mrs Williams Reviewed on 21st June, 2010 Animate have been looking after our gang of 7 dogs, my horse, bird and fish now for about 10 months. Leanne has always been there when i need her to attend my disabled dog at short notice and she did a fantastic job taking care of them on our Wedding day from early morning helping us get ready right thru till the next day when she stayed with them all so we could relax knowing they were in safe hands. I would recommend her to anyone, and I have said before I wouldnt just leave our gang with anyone, and it took ages to find someone I can be confident with, big thanks Leanne !
