About Us

Snoopies is a 'Prince’s Trust' and a 'Best of Colchester' award winning business. With a modern, fully equipped, AIR CONDITIONED Salon in Little Bentley (Colchester), it has, mainly through recommendation, grown into one of the most reputable dog grooming parlours in Essex. Offering Dog and Cat Grooming to clients within Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea and further afield throughout the Tendring, Essex and Suffolk areas, it was set-up in 2001, following a number of years as a mobile business. Customer service is maintained to the highest possible standard, always ensuring that the animal’s welfare and health comes first.

All breeds of Dogs and Cats are catered for at Snoopies, large or small and they are happy to groom breeds that are considered “aggressive” and are often refused by some salons.

The salon is open plan and your pet is in full view throughout its pampering, ideal for a nervous animal (or owner) They use all the latest equipment, to ensure a stress free visit for your pet. Owners are welcome to watch their pet being groomed and can browse around the well stocked shop.

All cats and dogs are dried by hand with high impact dryers; they never use cabinet driers. A collection and drop off service is available.
There is a micro-chipping service for Cats, Dogs, Rabbits and Ferrets.

Since moving into their NEW Salon, appointment availability has increased, but during the busiest times of the year there can be up to 4 weeks waiting times.Sometimes cancellations are available, so please call or email for more details of services and get information on the earliest appointments available.

Snoopies always use the very best quality shampoos, specifically designed for use on animals. Their wide selection ensures there is a quality shampoo suitable for your pet’s skin and coat type. Snoopies never use any shampoos or detergents that are not produced for animal use.

On your first visit Staff will always discuss fully your requirements, along with any health or behavioural issues your animal may have. This assures your pet’s welfare and the welfare of Snoopies staff, whilst at the same time ensuring the end result the Client wants is obtained
