About Us

We are a small but dedicated sanctuary run for the welfare and rehoming of unwanted rabbits. Our aim is to protect and give sanctuary to animals that have been badly ill-treated, hurt, abandoned or are simply unwanted pets. No animal is ever refused entry.

Before the re-homing process can begin all the rabbits are given full health checks and kept for a period of 4 weeks to enable us to assess their temperament and any other needs or veterianry treatment necessary. No animal is ever euthanased unless illness or suffering has reduced its quality of life to a point where it cannot be cured.

Thumpers Rabbit Rescue is a voluntary, non-profit making centre that relies completely on donations and fund raising to continue it's work.
