About Us
We are Dog FriendlyAbbey Court Hotel Bournemouth, has a character all of its own due to the Hotel being a converted Victorian Gentleman’s residence dating from 1882. It is situated in a quiet suburban street, just a five minute walk from the Award winning Sandy Beaches and Gardens and the first Artificial surf Reef in Europe. The local town of Boscombe Spa is within a 10 minute walk and Bournemouth is approximately a 30 minute, pleasant walk along the sea front, or less than 5 minutes by car or bus. As a dog friendly hotel, we are ideally situated for both the seaside and countryside walks.
The towns of Christchurch and Poole are only a short drive away. We are just over half an hour’s drive from the Isle of Wight Ferry or slightly closer for the Condor Ferry to France. With the Jurassic coastline, The New Forest and Hengistbury Head Nature reserve all almost on the doorstep.
We are known for our freshly cooked and plentiful English or Continental breakfasts, all food is sourced locally. We cater for all dietary needs including Celiac. Please inform us at time of booking should you have any special requirements.
All rooms are en-suite with high power showers, Free view TV. & free Wi-Fi throughout. We have a comfortable lounge for you to relax in and also a great entrance hall to sit and enjoy the sun, which is also very useful for drying your Dogs off, before returning to your rooms.
For our 4 legged friends we supply doggy treats, drinking and feeding bowls & the must have disposable bags for “walkies”. We supply a bed if required? All you need bring is their favourite blanket, toys and food. We will store their food in the refrigerator when not required, if necessary.
We supply towels for the beach for both Dogs and Owners.
