About Us

My name is Nigel Marshall MBIPDT. I am a police trained dog instructor, dog behaviourist and dog trainer and have been involved in the working and training of dogs for over ten years. I am a member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers and hold a wealth of experience in the pet dog-training environment.

Kent Dog Training Services is located off the A229 Bluebell Hill, Maidstone, and therefore our dog training customer database also includes Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, Rainham, Tonbridge & Malling, Gravesend and Sittingbourne dog owners - with the M2 and M20 on our doorstep we are easily accessible to all areas of Kent. Our aim is to provide you with "simple but effective dog training for you and your dog".

Whether it is from puppy training to dog aggression by being a dog behaviourist and dog trainer I can help you to understand your pet and achieve a happy, obedient and well balanced dog in and outside of your home or at our dog training complex.

Dogs are sensitive, intelligent and willing to learn creatures, with this in mind I will teach you how to communicate with your dog on a level they will understand using proven humane training techniques. All of my dog training methods are based upon positive reinforcement using food treats, toys and praise. In return your dog will become a better pet and a respectful member of "your" pack ensuring you get the best out of one and other.

I can offer you dog training support by travelling to your home, here I will assess your dog and together the training shall commence. I also offer tailored dog training group classes held in Maidstone where I ensure that the group size is kept to a small number to allow me time to progress you and your dog in a structured enjoyable safe dog training environment.
