About Us

Hello and Welcome to Nyx. I am Heather, a small select breeder of Maine Coons. All our cats are HCM Negative N/N

Member of The International Cat Association, Maine Coon Cat Club and Maine Coon Breed Society

Our kittens are born and raised in the home as part of the family, loved cherished and exceptionally well cared for, we fully abide by TICA/GCCF guidelines

We are registered with Highcroft Veterinary group, one of the few practices in the country to be accredited with the highest practice standard by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Our kittens have a home vist shortly after birth and a surgery health check and worming treatment at 3 weeks

All our kittens leave home age 13 weeks, fully inocculated against "all five" cat diseases with Fevaxyn" vaccines: Advocate worm/flea treatment and micro-chipped. They have full pedigree certificates with TICA/GCCF: Royal Canin Kitten Packs: Four weeks kitten insurance with PetPlan: Plus Kitten Goodie bag. Pet price for a kitten is £400

We also have a Stud boy available "Acoonamatata" Fire in the Sky bred by Hazel Hunter of Tiverton Devon. He is at limited stud to suitable tested Queens. We also have Fantastic Mr Finn an Orange Eyed White up and coming Stud Boy

We are happy to arrange viewing of our Adult cats as well as the Kittens. This provides a good opportunity to see the Maine Coon's Type and Temprement and have a chat about the breed over a cup of tea

Visting and Viewing days are available Monday Wendesday Saturday Sunday, other days can sometimes be arranged by mutual agreement

“Wonderful Maine Coon Kittens” Mr Glasspole Reviewed on 8th February, 2011 We bought a Maine Coon kitten from heather at Nyx Maine Coon Cats in October 2010. He has been an absolute pleasure and delight to own. An absolute boon to the family, friendly and entertaining. Heather was welcoming when we visited to see what a Maine Coon was really like, We were encouraged to visit our kitten as he grew up and Heather continues to be helpful as he grows up.
