About Us

County Pet Services is a family run business. At County Pet Services, we offer complete care for all pet types. Services include dog walking, dog boarding, doggy day creche, small animal boarding (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hampsters, gerbils, parrots, reptiles, etc), cat feeding and care, equestrian care and pet taxi.

All boarding (dog boarding and small animal boarding) is provided 365 days of the year with your beloved pet living in the comfort of our home. For dogs, before boarding, we arrange a visit for you and your dog. This ensures everyone is happy and safe. Likewise, should you wish to visit before boarding your small animal we are more than happy to arrange it. We board small animals both inside and out, as required.

Dog walking normally operates five days a week and we can cover weekends and bank holidays by arrangement. Dog walking can be on a regular basis, or to cover emergency periods such as illness.

Doggy day creche is like playtime for your pooch! For those with busy lifestyles, we can care for your pet in a safe environment all day long, including walking and plenty of socialization with other creche attendees!

We have had a diverse range of pets to care for and experience with many situations. Past charges have included snakes, reptiles, horses, chickens, exotic birds, rats and ferrets as well as more normal pets! We are also competant to administer medications and special diets when required.

We have been established since 1998. We are professional, reliable and fully insured. With years of animal care experience we are able to advise on all aspects of pet care and upbringing. We are also recommended by local vets. We are more than happy to discuss any of your pet care needs.

	“Outstanding!” Mrs Ouellette Reviewed on 20th July, 2010 How can I praise County Pet Services enough? From the moment Karen first came to meet my border collie, mackie, I was impressed. Her calm, friendly and professional manner were evident and Mackie took to her straight away. For two years he was a 'regular' on lunchtime walks and he loved every minute of it! The service provided surpassed all my expectations as Karen truly understands canine behaviour - she provided both the physical and mental stimulation, giving varied walks. Seeing mackie's relaxed, happy face at the end of the day was wonderful- pure contentment on his part and mine! On Mackie's behalf THANK YOU! Kirsty and Mackie x
	“What a find!” Mrs Whyte Reviewed on 22nd January, 2010 Karen offers an invaluable service. We can leave our dog with her knowing that she will be well cared for and come home tired (after some lovely long walks and even swimming in the summer!)and happy. Sometimes she doesn't even want to come home! Karen is dedicated to her job and loves the dogs which always come first. During the recent period of bad weather she trekked through the snow to make sure that our dog wasn't left on her own. It's great to have someone that you know that you can rely on and it enables us to go to work knowing that our dog is in good hands. We really couldn't manage without her and any new customers can rest assured that their dog or any other animal will be loved and cared for.
	“Two happy puppies!!” Miss sugg Reviewed on 17th January, 2010 Karen provides us with an invaluable service! We come home to two happy puppies, who no longer have had a long, lonely, boring day! They love to see Karen, who comes along, often at short notice, to entertain them with a long and lively walk out on the Salisbury plains. Karen is reliable and great with the dogs, always letting you know of the entertaining stories in which your dogs have participated. We would be lost without her high quality service. The dogs also love going on their holidays and short breaks at Karens, whilst we go off and enjoy ours. I would highly recommend this service, Karen works hard and always tries to accommodate both the dogs and owners needs. Thank you Karen!!
	“Simply the best in the area ....” Mr Duncan Reviewed on 11th January, 2010 I am what would be known as a neurotic parent (if I had kids) - as I have a 2 yr old cross-breed who can be nervous or boisterous it all adds up to a stressful time when having to put him into day care .... That said County Pets are a golden find ... Karen looks after my dog like it were her own and reassures the dog and myself that all is ok when we are apart. I can't recommend County Pets enough as Karen is one of those rare business owners who really loves her job and it shows - love and care lavished on the dogs (and other animals). All the family are great with the dogs too and a waggy tail and jump up to get in her front door says it all ... no better recommendation than that. 5 Star * * * * *
