![]() | “Lauren and Billy” Miss Weeks Reviewed on 21st May, 2010I heard from a friend about four paws aqua and decided to give them a ring to find out more. Billy is a 5 year old shih tzu x lhasa apso and has been with me for 2 years as he was a recue dog. He has no health problems he just likes to go for a fun splash. The staff are wonderful and friendly you couldn't ask for more. I would highly reccomend it even if your not sure your dog likes water or if you just want to bring it for fun. Now i am glad to say i am part of the four paws aqua team and me and billy would never dream of leaving them. |
![]() | “OSCAR THE BOXER” Mrs Munns Reviewed on 9th April, 2010I'm touching wood when I say that at the moment Oscar has few health problems. He is just a crazy 5yr old boxer who thinks he is still a puppy, but he does spend quite a lot of time on his own at home when we are out at work so when I found out I could leave him with Karen and her team for the day to be walked, fussed and played with it seemed ideal. On top of that he gets a swim; he normally only likes to paddle but hopefully this will make him more confident. He loves it and goes home to sleep peacefully and dream about more walks and play time. thank you Karen for providing such a useful service. Oscar really appreciates it. |
![]() | “From Sally and Stan Penfold.” Miss penfpld Reviewed on 4th April, 2010My dog is a yorkie, named Stanley. The vet said he had put on a few lbs. I used to take him out for long walks, but due to back problems,i find it difficult to exicise him. 4 Paws Aqua. The staff are so kind and helpful, And Karen the owner had a long chat with me regarding the best way forward for stanley to get back in trim.Stan and myself have been twice now,and really look forward to the weekly swim. I would like to say a BIG THANKYOU to 4Paws Aqua. Hope they will grow stronger and stronger. |
![]() | “Honey” Mrs Dewdney Reviewed on 28th March, 2010Honey has had both her hips replaced. After her second operation in January we were advised that hydrotherapy would help with her walking and muscle mass. She had a course of hyrdotherapy at 4paws and it has really made a huge difference. Ali was brilliant with her allowing her to build up her confidence and level of exercise which was right for her. She now goes to fun swim and really loves it. Thank you Karen, Ali and the team. |
![]() | “The Best” Miss morris Reviewed on 24th March, 2010I havwe been taking my greyhound Willow to 4paws Aqua for almost two years. Initially this was for a shoulder injury, but once healed I continued once every fortnight becuase the results on Willow have continued to dramatically improve her fitness. Karen and her team are professional, knowledgeable, and amenable to appointments outside of conventional working hours. The service has been extremely good value for money, and a quality of customer care is delivered that is often sadly lacking in this day and age. They do also have a wonderful empathy with their four legged customers. This is not the nearest hydrotherapy pool to me, but I continue to travel the extra distance because Karen goes out her way to look after her customers. |
![]() | “Help” Mrs waller Reviewed on 19th March, 2010HI Karen, Thanks for all your help, your services are great Pauline k9 harmony |
![]() | “Sally” Miss porter Reviewed on 16th March, 2010Sally loves her time at four paws aqua, she has been going there for over a year, her friend Yoda the boxer recommended it. Sally suffers with arthritis in her back legs also she needed to get her weight down which the hydrotherapy has helped. Sally is very serious about her swimming, she refuses to have any toys to play with. Sally likes all who assist her, she looks forward to her weekly visits. |
![]() | “A magical touch for Max” Mrs Knight Reviewed on 14th March, 2010We have had our English Springer Spaniel, Max, for 4 years and we got him from a rescue home. About 2 years ago he had an operation for a cruciate ligament rupture which ultimately failed and he is now on constant medication for it. He also has arthritis (he's 12 years old) and a heart problem but since I have been taking him to Karen at 4 Paws Aqua the progress he has made with his leg has been astonishing. He has not limped for months and whilst at first he was a bit tentative about going into the pool he now can't wait and tries to get in without his life jacket! It's a joy to watch him enjoying his swims and being able to take him out on proper walks again. No-one who meets him can believe how old he is! Karen and her team do a fantastic job and I can't thank them enough. |
![]() | “Helping Lucy the Lab lose weight” Mrs Collins Reviewed on 13th March, 2010After a long period on steroids Lucy our Lab gained a lot of weight. Following a vet recommendation we decided to send Lucy for hydrotherapy. Karen at Four Paws Aqua was able to give us an appointment within 48 hours whereas other companies, which had very restricted opening hours, said we would be waiting months. The staff at Four Paws are friendly and helpful and encouraged our dog Lucy when she was not a very cooperative customer! Lucy loves going to see Karen and her staff and has so far managed to lose 6kg with the help of the hydrotherapy. She is more mobile and making great progress. We would definitely recommend Four Paws Aqua as the centre is spacious and caters for all the dogs needs. |
![]() | “Millie” Mrs Molloy Reviewed on 8th March, 2010Millie is a black lab who hates the swimming pool, if it was durty, smelly she would love it. I take Millie on a regular basis to fore paws aqua, and I have noticed the benifit it has had on her, she is brighter, and fitter, she loves all the staff as they make a big fuss of her, after the swim, the girls shampoo and shower her and this has mase her coat loverly and shinny. thanks Karen, Anna and all the staff for all your help. Love Ellen and Millie xx |
![]() | “Poppy” Miss puckett Reviewed on 7th March, 2010Poppy, our Springerdoor, was diagnosed with hip dysplacia in May 2009 and underwent an operation for a full hip replacement in June. After this, Poppy was required to go to the surgery in the New Forest for hyrdotherapy on an underwater treatmill however we felt that she wasn't getting the treatment she required as she did not appear to be getting better. I saw advertised locally the swimming pool '4 paws aqua' who was offering a free trial swim for new customers so I thought, hey, why not. It was good to have this free trial to see whether Poppy would like it and also it gave me the opportunity to speak to the staff at the pool about the options available. As it happens, Poppy loved it there and couldn't wait to get in for her swim. The facilities there are perfect- there is ample parking outside, it's easy to access, throughout the facility there are dog friendly ramps as well as seating for us humans. The wash station is great, the equipment is in good nick, the staff are fabulous and best of all (in Poppy's opinion) there is an endless supply of toys to accompany her in the pool. I constantly recommend this business to people that I meet with dogs who have had various ailments, as well as to people with puppies who have boundless energy and need to burn it off in a way that does not impact on their joints. Poppy loves her trip to the pool and her hip is definitly showing signs of improvement. |
![]() | “Lucy” Mrs Lawrence Reviewed on 7th March, 2010In november 2009 lucy was a very unhappy dog with a very bad limp in her front leg on the vets recomendation we decided to try hydrotherophy as well as medication from the vet Four Paws Aqua was recommended by a friend who in turn had been recommended by Animed Vetinary hospital.Lucy is a changed dog she now enjoys life to the full the treatment she received from Karen and her staff has been exceptional so much so that our vet is delighted as we are with Lucy's progress she has good muscle tone in her shoulders which had started to waste away. Lucy now thinks she's a puppy dog but she is twelve and a half years old so life because of Four Paws Aqua is once again enjoyable. We would highly recommend Four Paws Aqua Karen and her staff work wonders |
