About Us

At Abbey Vets, we are proud to offer a wide range of small animal services throughout Lancashire.

Our staff, care about you and your pet and we try to treat every patient as if it were our own. As we do all own pets, we can understand what it feels like to be concerned about their wellbeing and the worry it can cause when they get sick.

Within our surgeries we have fully trained, registered veterinary nurses who work alongside our experienced vets and knowledgeable support staff to enable us to offer the highest standard of care to all our patients.

Our nurses also offer clinics to give advice on subjects such as weight loss, looking after senior pets and bringing up puppies and kittens.

Although we do spend a large amount of our time treating sick and injured pets, we are also keen to encourage our clients to use preventative measures such as vaccination and worming, these measures help to keep your pet healthy which will hopefully lead them to live a long and happy life.
