My puppy Alfie LOVES his days at Kanine Kampus
Miss Lord Reviewed on 24th February, 2013

Alfie is not yet 12 months old and he has been going to Kanine Kampus since he was about 7 months old. At first I was really nervous about leaving him as he was just a little ball of fluff but Diane and Paddy were so kind toward him and very reassuring to me that I was fine. Alfie of course was great and Diane sent me little clips of him playing during the day to help me! Now...... well, he starts to squeak with delight when we pull up outside in the car and he knows exactly where we are. He cant wait to get inside and start playing with all his friends, large and small. When I collect him at the end of the day he falls asleep in the car before we get home and I know he's had a full day of playing and socialising with other dogs - which he loves doing. What I also love is that Diane or Paddy will take time to chat about how he's been and I know they take a genuine interest in his development as Diane told me last week that he's really maturing around other dogs. I highly recomend Kanine Kampus to anyone thinking of leaving their dog alone all day in the house. Thanks guys :)

They love it!
Miss Gunner Reviewed on 13th February, 2013

Anyone knows knows the breed of beagles will know there a little more than hard work! Jenson as a puppy suffered from seperation anxiety, and leaving him to so to work use to bring me so much stress, until I discovered k9 Kampus, Jenson came for his assessment to make sure he got on with all the other dogs. He passed with flying colours, and since that day has attended up to 3 days a week when I'm at work, he starts howling with excitement as soon as we drive onto the complex and then takes off my arm as he jumps out the boot and runs straight to play with his fellow dog friends. The first few times Jenson attended the staff sent me pictures and updates as to how Jenson was doing to put me at ease, Jenson has now been attending for almost a year now and with his new adoptee brother buster! A dog walker to walk these 2 for about 2 hours would charge the same, and it wouldn't tire them out at all as they need a few hours walk a day but playing non stop from half 7 in the morning to half 6 and come home have their tea and fast asleep! They offer a fabulous service and have become friends with the staff as they have got to know me and my 2 dogs. I have recommended this to many of my friends who now take their dogs! Couldn't be more grateful! Jenson and buster couldn't live without it! I couldn't live without it!

My Dog loves Doggy Daycare!
Miss Duffy Reviewed on 13th February, 2013

My japanese akita Chico attends doggy daycare if we're out of the house for a full day. He absolutely loves it. As soon as we open the car he dives out and runs to the door.
They have a webcam facility which means we can watch what he gets up whilst we're at work.
It costs us £15 for a full day we usually drop him off at 7.30am and collect him at around 5.30pm. I think this is exceptional value for money, much cheaper than the damage he can potentially do when left alone in the house (He hates being left alone and likes to chew soft furnishings from carpets to sofas!).
We decided to send him to doggy daycare on the advice of a dog behaviour expert to get him socialised with other dogs. He has changed ten fold since attending daycare, he is no longer as boisterous with other dogs on walks and has learnt that other dogs don't appreciate being jumped up at etc.
They have people who go in with the dogs and keep them occupied all day long. When Chico gets home he is always shattered so we know he's had a busy day running round with his friends.
In terms of injuries, Chico hurt his foot at doggy daycare the other week, he does like to jump around and runs way too fast so like children they have accidents. Kanine Kampus called my mum as soon as they were aware he had had an accident, they said they would keep an eye on him and would call with an update. In the end the we had to go and collect him as he was getting a bit mopey (He is a very soft dog you wouldn't think he was an Akita!) we got him home and within the hour he was running aroung again! I thought this was dealt with very well they kept us updated the whole time.
Overall I would recommend this service to any dog owner, they have a huge variety of breeds and it's brilliant for socialising dogs and it's just great fun they're always buying new toys for them to play with, I love it!

Frank loves Doggy Daycare! :D
Miss Dobson Reviewed on 12th February, 2013

Shortly After Kanine Kampus opened its doors it was highly recomended to me by a friend who had used the service for her beagle puppy whilst at work . The idea of a 'doggy play gym' (as our children call it) for our near 1 year old bulldog puppy seemed a fabulous concept... not only to give him exercise but to allow him to socialise, learn his boundries and just have fun playing with other dogs- as well as taking some of the pressure off our busy family life. Since Franks first visit last year ( which he absolutely loved!) we have seen Kanine kampus grow into a fabulous service for dog owners. We feel assured that he is well looked after as he now drags us to the entrance as soon as we pull up in the carpark and then sulks at us when we arrive to collect him when its home time! The staff are brilliant- really accomdating and fab at what they do, it is obvious that this famiy business truly care and are passionate about what they do! so much so that they even threw our little frank a first birthday bash! :) We love seeing pictures and videos of our dog having fun at kanine Kampus. I feel that the very reasonable prices are more than worth it for the service provided! we would not send our dog anywhere else no we have found pet au purrs, Kanine Kampus Doggy Daycare! :) Thankyou for taking such good care of Frank the tank! ;)

Kanine Kampus (Holly)
Mrs Nicholson Reviewed on 11th February, 2013

I'm making this review after reading sum extremely biased reviews by Kanine Kampus's competition.
Having had my dog for three years I have used other day care centres in the past which are now closed down. Kanine Kampus is extremely good value for money with offers for bulk bookings and shorter hours. The previous centre I used was more expensive and less of a personal touch also.
Diane paddy and their team are always quick to respond to any questions about bookings or the dogs welfare. They even have a camera u can log onto to check what ur pooch is up to.
It works out better value for money than having someone walk your dog for Half an hour and to the idiot (or threatened competitor) saying they wouldn't like their dog injured by another dog in their absence. This is still a possible eventuality paying someone to enter your house an walk you dog is it not? All dogs are assessed and under constant supervision
Holly was one of the first users of Kanine Kampus and still goes weekly when my husband is working. She has made doggy friends and as a little bit in love with Paddy too I think.
Sorry for the long review but I felt I needed to cover what the negative review had been 'claiming'

Fantastic!
Miss Hartley Reviewed on 11th February, 2013

Words cant describe how brilliant Kanine Kampus is! Its worth it money and open all day, dogs have a brilliant time whilst their there and it defiantly wears them out. I take my Springer Spaniel (Roxy) once a week on a Friday and she comes home and doesn't move off the settee when she gets home and once again it is very highly recommended and it has adequate facilities.

The cream of the crop
Mrs linnell Reviewed on 11th February, 2013

When i went on Holiday my little dog Missy stayed with diane, she went to Kanine Kampus Doggie Day care by day and home with Diane at nightime.

I worry about missy as she is quite old now and cant survive without cuddles, I can honestly say that Diane looked after her so well i was more than impressed. Missy will be staying with Diane again this year.

Thanks D x

Outstanding!
Ms Littlewood Reviewed on 11th February, 2013

I cannot emphasise enough how fantastic Kanine Kampus is, my labrador Ben loves his visits, he gets excited in the car as soon as we get near. There is always a warm welcome waiting from the friendly, knowledgable staff who are very accommodating and helpful. Ben is my best friend and I wouldn't leave him with just anyone, but I have no hesitation leaving him at Kanine Kampus. The web cam is a fantastic idea, every time I log on I see a member of staff playing with the dogs which is probably why Ben comes home worn out! The opening hours are great for people who work and everyone I tell about how fantastic it is (almost everyone I meet!) comment how reasonable the cost is, it is certainly worth every penny for both my piece of mind and the obvious enjoyment Ben gets from going!

Veterinary Nurse Recommended
Miss Bean RVN MCFBA MTGODT Reviewed on 1st February, 2013

As a Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse of 17 years I can be highly critical about such services as I am of the view that if someone is looking after my pet they have to be experienced, insured and of a very high calibre. I want to see pet professionals working together and helping each other. These are the very things that I see in the staff at Kanine Kampus and because of this they look after my dog and I in turn send them my clients with up most confidence. Anyone can walk a dog and charge, I dont recommend and refer to just anyone, I am highly qualified in my field so I choose carefully.

My dogs LOVE this place
Ms Williams Reviewed on 21st January, 2013

I love this place but my dogs really love it. Diane the owner has walked my dog Riley for over 8 yrs and Albert for 4. Now she has this daycare they go and play play play when I work days. They come home shattered and happy and well socialised. And now I can watch them on CCTV which is great. The staff are great with the dogs and I can't recommend this place enough.
