About Us
Westmoor Vets in Tavistock is a small animal specialist practice which offers 24hr care including permanent on site Veterinary Nurse care to ensure that our patients receive a high standard of care throughout the day and night. You can be reassured that your pet is receiving the level of care he or she deserves as it is practice policy to treat each and every one of our patients as if they are our own!Westmoor Veterinary Centre can trace its origins back to 1920 when Mr Gibbings put up his plate. The need for first class animal treatment is as relevant today as it was then and Westmoor has evolved into a state of the art, five vet small animal practice with twenty-four hour nursing that exists today. Our diagnostic equipment includes digital X-ray, an in house laboratory, scanners, endoscopes and a full range of anaesthetic monitors. The recent addition of a phaco-emulsifier allows us to offer the best possible treatment for cataract. Therefore you should feel confident to recommend us for your ongoing second opinions and eye referrals.
