About Us
With many years of experience in caring for pets, Kittywoof offers pet care services to customers throughout the local area (Alyth, Kilry, Newtyle, Meigle, Coupar Angus, Blairgowrie). We also offer to home board dogs not only from Blairgowrie & Alyth, but from any area. You can drop off and collect your dog(s) at a pre-arranged date and time, or else make use of our pet taxi service. We also offer a free collection/drop off service in Alyth.Whilst offering hourly dog walking, (individual or small groups - no more than 5 dogs at a time) and a home sitting service for cats and other animals, Kittywoof also offers an extensive range of services.
Kittywoof offers a home boarding service for dogs (a home based alternative to kennels) who prefer the comforts of a family home. Your pets live with us as if they were our own, as part of our family. They can also come for some doggy day care.
Kittywoof introduced a pet taxi service in 2010 (pet to vet, cattery, kennels or anywhere else) to the Alyth and surrounding areas, which is more cost effective (and of course suited to your pet) than taxis, providing a hassle-free alternative to public transport.
Kittywoof has a growing customer base situated in the Alyth, Blairgowrie and surrounding areas, including customers who work or who are no longer able to offer to meet their pet's needs as they would like. We cover a wider area including Perth and parts of Perthshire and indeed beyond for our home boarding service.
Kittywoof provides an emergency or planned home boarding service for owners who have fallen ill, or who need to be somewhere (with relatives, or on holiday) for a period of time. Home boarding can last from as little as one night, and as long as months, depending on the needs of the customer and the needs of their dog or small pet/s.
The Kittywoof team is managed by husband and wife team B and Gordon Kidd. Both are passionate about pets and have lived in Alyth for years. Gordon has links to the Alyth area going back to his childhood years, and both enjoy providing a quality pet care service in their home town and the surrounding areas.
