About Us

Based in Waldridge (Chester-le-Street), Durham Dog Care provides Dog Walking/Sitting/Boarding/Behavioural Management to local dog owners throughout County Durham. Family run business with many years of experience in learning to understand dogs, in order to improve their quality of life (and that of their owners).

Helping clients to take care of their dog's needs, Durham Dog Care offers: countryside walks; home boarding for a less stressful alternative to kennels; daytime dog sitting for clients who don't wish to leave their dog alone while they are out; and assistance with problem behaviour.

The business is run by Jamie and Jennifer Muir who have many years experience working with dogs. Durham Dog Care specialists are fully insured and CRB checked, and have Canine First Aid certificates.

“Booked next walk straight away!” Miss McDonnell Reviewed on 18th January, 2012 Jamie and Jen are fabulous with my two dogs. They are returned having had a lovely long walk- the retriever is actually tired....not yet managed that myself! My dogs both greet Jamie enthusiastically, a rare occurrence for Peanut as he tends not to trust people (even walking away from my parents before now!) have booked in next walk as well as when I'm on holiday.
