About Us

Custom Canine Care exist to provide excellent personalised services for you, your dogs and your other household pets.

I am 50 years old and have shared all but the last few years with a succession of wonderful canine friends and many small animals. My business combines my passion for animals with 25 years of working in the healthcare and service sector (nursing and respite care) and my desire is to provide an easily modified service designed (with your input) to best suit your specific requirements.

I am currently undertaking a Level 3 diploma in Canine Studies, to better equip myself to provide you with professional support in terms of nutrition, health care, first aid and behavioural issues. However, my own experience spans involvement in raising litters, care throughout all stages of life, training and exhibition, with a special interest in understanding natural behaviours – dogs as dogs.

Prior to setting up Custom Canine Care I have been boarding small animals for many years, have provided holiday care for friends and family’s dogs and also ‘house-sit’ regularly while people are taking a break. I can offer numerous references and testimonials.

I am a member of NarpsUK, am CRB (police) checked, fully insured and LA inspected and licensed as a home boarding establishment.

Rates are competitive and a 20% discount is offered on all services for your first week of using Custom Canine Care (quote PL11).
