Joanne Drysdale BSc is a professional dog behaviour consultant who provides dog behaviour counselling and training to clients throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians. She uses kind, fair and effective methods. Joanne is fully qualified and insured. She is a provisional member of the APBC and a strong supporter of animal welfare. Services offered include behaviour counselling, private dog/puppy training, nutrition reviews, socialisation groups and education visits.

“Thank You Joanne!” Ms Reeves Reviewed on 12th August, 2011 My young spaniel bitch (2 at the time) spent 2 weeks with Joanne during summer 2010, and whilst this was a boarding arrangement, I would like to comment on how well Chloe was treated. She is a very excitable dog, and suffers from Separation Anxiety, so I was a little nervous about how she would settle in. Thankfully, due to Joanne's expert knowledge of dogs' behaviour and her gentle and kind approaches, Chloe very quickly adapted to being in her multi dog household. In fact, when I returned to collect her, Chloe was quite reluctant to come home with me! I noticed a definite change in her behaviour, she was mach calmer and more able to focus than before her stay. Since that time, if ever I want advice on any aspect of Chloe's I always turn to Joanne, as I totally trust her knowledge and skills. She only uses reward based training methods and has a calm and reassuring manner. Her own dogs are a credit to her, and a fine example of how kind, modern dog training methods, result in happy, well behaved dogs. I cannot recommend Joanne highly enough.
