About Us
Cat feeding / small pet feeding / dog walking in the Warwick Gates / Heathcote area of Warwick and Leamington Spa.I'm an experienced cat owner (30 years plus) and dog owner for 20 years. I can do regular feeding, routine grooming and play, whilst you are away on holiday.I also have 25 years plus experience with horses and ponies.
On a routine cat feeding visit I will be at your property for approximately 20 - 30 minutes - checking each cat over, giving tlc, feeding, checking the supply of fresh water and cleaning litter trays. I always make time for a quick game and lots of cuddles. I like using 'treat balls' and food puzzles for cats to solve when they are alone in the house. Please save any egg boxes made of cardboard and toilet roll / kitchen roll tubes for this. I can also water your plants and open and close your curtains, turn on random lights.
Dog walking. I am used to medium breeds of dogs and like to spend time with each dog individually - I do not use the 'pack' method adopted by some walkers. I try to meet the needs of each individual pet, ensuring a good walk, a toilet break and some fun along the way.
'Sibling' or 'canine family' walks are an option in multi-dog households. Each additional dog (maximum 3) is charged at £1 - £1.50 for each dog above the standard rate. Walks start at £5 for a 30 minute walk, rates are slightly different for weekends, bank holidays etc. See website for the current rate card.
The standard walk will be on footpaths, green spaces and cycle paths within your local area. If you have a 'preferred route' this can be used. Green space will not be used in wet weather. Walks can be curtailed in extreme weather conditions, to a 'quick turn around the block' or garden break.
Once I know your dog will 'listen' to and respond to me I can use long leads (up to 50 feet) in appropriate spaces to allow free running exercise of dogs. This allows for games with balls, frisbees, etc. 'Long lead walks' are only suitable for dogs which have been well socialised and trained. It is my policy to not allow dogs off the lead. I often use two leads.
I work as a music teacher and am usually free during school holidays. I have full CRB clearance and can also 'live in overnight' if needed - locally for odd days, weekends or weeks.
