About Us
Clyde Valley Pet Retreat is a unique concept in dog boarding. We are located in a quiet & secluded location above the village of Kirkfieldbank near the historic town of Lanark. With just two very large and luxurious suites, we cater for people with more than one dog to ensure that whilst you are on holiday, your dogs can live together and have the same standard of personal care and attention they are accustomed to at home.Each suite has an internal sleeping area measuring 12ft x 12ft and an external covered area of the same size. Both suites are fully insulated and heated with thermostatically controlled under floor heating. They have full height toughened glass double glazed doors and windows, luxury porcelain tiles inside and out and 24 hour live feed digital webcams. Whilst in our care, your dogs will receive one on one personal care and will be walked at lest four times per day as well as having playtime in the suites throughout the day.
Clyde Valley Pet Retreat was born out of a terrible kennel experience we had with our late Afghan Hound Basil he came home close to death after two weeks in kennels. We vowed then to create something truly special to give people and their dogs the highest standards of care and attention they expect and deserve.
